Day 1  Anchorage – August 4:  Meet at the Minneapolis-St Paul Airport. Arrive in Anchorage and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay. This is Alaska’s most cosmopolitan city, so get out and explore the shops, restaurants and cultural attractions.
Day 2  Anchorage/Mt. McKinley – August 5:  Your motorcoach journey this morning along the scenic George Parks Highway is one of the most dazzling in all of the Great Land – keep an eye open for awesome views of Mt. McKinley along the way. Then you’ll arrive at the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, your destination for the night, with a perspective on the peak that is simply inspiring. You may want to settle in with a glass of wine in the Great Room or on the expansive deck and take in these sensational views. Opt for a leisurely dinner at the 20,320 Alaskan Bar & Grill for the perfect end to a great day in this inspiring wilderness setting.
Day 3  Mt. McKinley/Denali – August 6:  Another spectacular motorcoach tour takes you to Denali National Park, and an afternoon Natural History Tour to learn more about the flora and fauna of the area. Back at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, settle in to your room before preparing for the evening – opt for the uproarious “Music of Denali” dinner theater, a fun and enlightening way to learn about local history.
Day 4  Denali/Whittier – August 7:  Transfer to the rail station for a picturesque journey through some of Alaska’s most majestic landscapes on the Denali Express. Once in Whittier, you’ll step right from the train to your ship for the beginning of your unforgettable 7-day cruise.
